On 9th Feb, 2014, an exhibition of paintings of 7 young artists was inaugurated at the Gujarat State Lalit Kala Akademy, Ahmedabad. The artists are aged between 5 and 12. The exhibition was inaugurated by Shri Jay Pancholi, Ex-Head, Department of Fine Arts, C N Fine Arts College, Ahmedabad.
The paintings are very colourful, as can be expected considering the age of the artists. They give out socially relevant messages, depict various festivals and present a commentary on day-to-day life. The exhibition is on till 11th Feb, 2014, between 4pm and 7 pm.
